We are the plant Selb of KYOCERA Fineceramics Europe GmbH – one of the leading solution providers in the field of high-performance ceramics. From our production site located in Selb, in the heart of Europe, we supply the most diverse industries and customers throughout the world with high-performance technical ceramics. Founded in 1985 as “Hutschenreuther Technische Keramik”, the company has spent decades developing its expertise. KYOCERA Fineceramics Europe GmbH has since become one of the world’s market leaders in the field of high-performance ceramics.
We have grown in recent years – and we still have big plans. We are passionate about ceramic materials. We work as a team every day to develop and manufacture the best solutions and products from high-performance ceramics for our clients.
In December 2022 KYOCERA Fineceramics Precision GmbH based in Selb has been merged with KYOCERA Fineceramics Europe GmbH based in Mannheim as the absorbing company and is now officially registered in the commercial register. This is an important interim step, as the sales colleagues from Esslingen and Neuss will join us on 1 April and complete the KYOCERA Fineceramics Europe family.

Our goal?
Making ceramic solutions with even more precision, complexity and quality than we are already doing. And we do this along the entire value chain, from powder preparation to the finished component and careful final inspection, all in the company.
What exactly does that mean?
Management of the spray tower systems has been modernized for an efficient workflow. The pressing equipment and pressing processes will soon undergo modernization. Our green machining equipment has already been replaced by state-of-the-art lathes, which allow for the machining of components with large dimensions, as well as turning and milling in a single step. We would like to continue increasing our sintering capacities and have therefore planned new, larger, kilns – of course also with a view to the sintering of promising large-scale components. It was an absolute highlight for us when we upgraded our milling machines to state-of-the-art 5-axis milling machines. These enable us to machine components from 300 mm to 1000 mm and to manufacture complex components with sophisticated structures and dimensions. Last but not least, our grinding machinery was completely modernized. We can therefore guarantee you finishing of high-quality components with accuracies in the μm range.
